We Have the Power to Impact Women’s Healthcare Across Coastal Georgia, and We’re Doing Something About It
Restoring real choice takes more than one open door. It takes places to receive care, the professionals to provide it, and the knowledge and leadership to sustain it. We invest in all four.
THE NEED
When care leaves a community, women bear the cost.
Coastal and rural Georgia hold some of the widest gaps in women’s healthcare in the country. When a clinic closes, a care desert grows. Routine care becomes a day-long journey, or one that never happens at all.
We exist to change that equation.
2+ HOURS...
The drive many coastal families now face to reach comparable midwifery and maternity care after Georgia’s oldest freestanding birth practice closed in Savannah in early 2026.
1 IN 2
Georgia communities with limited or no access to obsteric services.
EVERY DAY

ACCESS
We fund the programs and infrastructure that bring women’s healthcare closer to home.
• A mobile outreach clinic for care deserts
• Grants that restore and expand maternity and birth-center capacity across the coast.
WORKFORCE
We invest in the midwives, doulas, and community health professionals who make meaningful care possible. We do this through scholarships, clinical training support and mentorship that build a lasting pipeline of local providers.
EDUCATION
We give women the information, resources, and support to make informed decisions. With community classes, needs assessments, public reporting, and clear directories of the care that exists across our region.
LEADERSHIP
We develop women capable of changing organizations, systems, and communities through board readiness, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, mentorship and support for the next generation of emerging leaders.
